Journey to Rylan

We went to have Rylan’s medical exam today.  He did very well.  I was a little nervous because I’ve heard of children that haven’t been allowed to go home because the medical examination finds them to be sick.  We didn’t have any problems, though.  Although the doctor did ask us about his congestion.  It seems to be getting better and he hasn’t coughed any that I can remember in the last day or so.

After we got the medical exam done, we went and looked at some of the shops.  They all have pretty much the same stuff.  A lot of pretty things, though.  We’re going to go buy some things this afternoon.  We were just looking this morning.

We came back to our room and were hoping to order in, but our room hadn’t been cleaned yet.  So we decided to go try the Cantonese restaurant across the street from the hotel - JM Chef.  The food was good, but they wouldn’t accept that we didn’t want hot tea.  It’s very hot and humid here and hot tea just didn’t sound good.  So we got charged for tea, even though we didn’t want any!  Besides that, we liked 2 of the 3 dishes that we ordered!

Rylan’s up from his nap and we’re just kind of relaxing for a while, before we hit the shops again!
